Classy and delicious Delicious fresh fish with beautiful viewpoint and quick service —just know it’s a bit pricey and fun to watch the otters swim while dining

Came with my family to the aquarium and decided to grab lunch. We came to the fish hopper and I will definitely be coming back again! Customer service was on point and the food is delicious. Great view to have lunch with your loved ones!

I'll be honest, I was a little concerned that The Fish Hopper was a tourist trap, but I was pleasantly surprised! I would definitely recommend for folks visiting Monterey and looking for some seafood with a great view and in a central location!

We ordered the crab cake appetizer, I ate the macadamia crusted halibut and my boyfriend ordered the prawns and scallop risotto. I was happy with the crab cakes as they certainly didn't skimp on the crab! My halibut was also cooked really well; it was tender and moist yet still relatively flaky, and they did a good job crusting the fish to where it was thick and crispy, and didn't just get soggy. I liked the balance of the salty macadamia flavor with the fruity salsa.

As for the restaurant itself, we were seated in a large booth on the back wall, facing the window. Although we weren't right next to the window, we still had a great view of the water, and it was nice to have extra space at a big table. The service was pretty quick even in the lunch rush, and otherwise pretty standard.

Great lunch with a view beautiful location, great service, clam chowder very good, Monterey Bay pasta delicious. It was a great last lunch for our trip.

Food is delicious and service is excellent. The food amount is good and filling. They are quick and very good service.

Happy hour prices are relatively more reasonable. The kids menu options are solid. The view is great. The $35 blackened salmon salad I got was expensive, but the fish was pretty good.
